Matthew 28:57(...but Peter followed Jesus FROM A DISTANCE...) John 18:24-25....Authorized (King James). 24 Now Annas had sent him (Jesus) bound unto Caiaphas the high priest. 25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself (From where? From that distant position). They said therefore unto him, Art not thou also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not....and in another place Peter said, I know not this man. ......So many prices we pay in this world when we do wrong or when we make the bad choice, or when we become slack in our important commitments. As a Christian, following Jesus in these last days from a distance is a very serious wrong move and a very costly decision. It is a position of the heart that has been proven to give place to demonic situation set ups that the enemy sets up against us for our hurt and denials of Christ. We see nothing in the scriptures to comfort the heart that is far from the Lord in the last days, Not one. Mercy and the Spirit of Jesus always pleads every soul to NOW DRAW NIGH TO GOD and to ENTER IN before its to late.. ......When Christ made his incredible Messianic visitation to his people Israel, though God was right there suddenly before them and in their presence, so many he found were giving him lots of lip service, outward appearance showings, but their hearts he found FAR FROM HIM. Such a distant following of the Lord did NO GOOD to anyone in Israel that were in captivity to that distant following, and the same DISTANT FOLLOWING OF CHRIST will not do any good to any of us today whose hearts have embraced it. Such distant following cost most of Israel their soul and left their house a house called desolation, which being interpreted means EMPTY OF GOD. Jesus because Israels heart was FAR FROM HIM, he said, Behold your house is a house of desolation. You are now empty of the Spirit of the Lord. And you shall not see Me here again, not until you learn to cry, blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord. Friend nothing good comes from DISTANT FOLLOWING.....NOTHING. ......Jesus spoke of servants and believers that pull themselves away from the table of close knit serving and fellowship with him. The picture Jesus drew in these words have no farewell ending to the hearts of those who find DISTANT FOLLOWING comforting. Lord have mercy on us all. Here are those words below. .......Luke 12:41-48...New King James Version (NKJV) 41 Then Peter said to Him, “Lord, do You speak this parable only to us, or to all people?” 42 And the Lord said, “Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season? 43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes. 44 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has. 45 But if that servant says in his heart, ‘My master is delaying his return,’ and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk, 46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers. 47 And that servant who knew his master’s will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes. 48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more. ......Church, Jesus said either be hot or cold, but be nothing in between. He said no lukewarm following him or lukewarm serving Jesus is acceptable. Fit or unfit, good and faithful, or slacking and distant following is in our power. It is our choice..The world, powers that be in America, and political correctness are pushing at us to deny Jesus publicly. Jesus, all of heaven, and the Roosters are watching how we will respond...scroll down.
......NOTE...Since Satan was able to make those of Christ inner circle deny him though they knew him more than all and set them up by their DISTANT FOLLOWING as to deny that they even knew the Lord, let not any of us today think we are safe in following Jesus at a distance. Satan sees that distance in our hearts also and when he brings again another strong persecution against Jesus and his gospel in this world in the last days, those that follow Christ slothfully and distantly may very well deny that they know the Lord when the pressure is on. The roosters that reflect our denials of Christ may be crowing and crying out everywhere against us....Friend it is time for all of us to become HOT for Jesus in all things....Amen....deno....share freely.
The cross of Christ though filled with chastisement and bloody conflict was never to be preached as a place of the wrath of God but the place, the only place on earth where souls can find and enter eternal peace with God. Paul wrote that God preaches peace by Jesus Christ, not wrath. Jesus Christ said, God did not send me to condemn the world and he did not send me to destroy BUT TO SAVE. It is only in and at and thru the cross of Christ true peace is found with God and then in our hearts and minds as we more thoroughly grasp with understanding what Jesus accomplished for us at the Cross in the sacrifice of himself. Truly Jesus did not die in vain. He was so horribly disfigured and disturbed even to the depths of his soul unto death SO THAT by his sorrows the chastisement that was needful and necessary for our peace with God to be purchased would all in all be fully met and by His Stripes our enmity situation with God was mended and in Christ we are healed. Always always always in the present hour God is preaching peace to us by Jesus Christ. When John the baptist mentioned the wrath of God that is surely to come, he immediately went to pointing out how to avoid the wrath of God, not the dwelling on the wrath of God; and he pointed to Christ the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world, and by that taking away of our sins, Gods wrath is removed off the souls of all them that accept Jesus Christ Gods own chosen Lamb given for our Peace Offering. We all like Abel offer up unto God upon the altar of our faith the Sacrifice and Blood of His Son for our sins, and like Abel we walk away in peace with God thru the Lamb God himself chose for our peace with Him to be obtained, Jesus Christ. And this great covenant Peace we have with God when Jesus is on the altar of our faith as our sins punishments sacrifice. Though we walk and live on in this world at peace with God thru the sacrifice and Peace offering of Christ, we are yet so hated by this world that is full of so many Cains.....deno.....share freely.
Despite the Lords great hurt while on the cross, he still prayed for God to forgive those who wounded him, and so wronged him and hurt him so deeply. We draw from him the love, the strength, and the forgiveness to forgive those who pained us most....deno.....Jesus is Lord.
More revival light.. ......This time revival does not come to our hearts and to our nation by the holier than thou hearts, but by men and women who like the prodigal son when he came back home from a life of many many repeated great sins and of great foolishness was amazed how GREAT GOD STILL LOVED THEM despite how terrible their pleasure seeking sins were against God, against heaven, and against the heritage of their Christian upbringings. ......In the prodigals sons loss of everything, of all his money and inheritance, in great pain and tears he came back home to find the greatest truth about God that stands out above all truths and that truth was Gods Great Love for us all still, despite us.. ......What a message the prodigal son in the bible could so preach of the revelation he found out for himself of the Fathers great love...Sin, even the most embarrassing sins of our generation committed by both male and females, and even the most foolish acts we have committed are no match for the power of Gods reconciling love giving us in Jesus. ......Friends let us all come back home to God. Let us all find out for ourselves the Prodigal Sons great finding about God and the greatness of His love that passes our natural human measure and exceeds this worlds understanding...God loved him the same despite all the son or daughter had done..Note..It is only when that son came home that he really found out about his fathers great love for him......Luke 15:11-32....deno.
......Words written are also the Mouth of His Spirit speaking and Understanding is the real hearing in Christ Jesus and not the vibrations of the physical ear..He that hath ears to hear let him hear. ......When Jesus spoke these words in the pic to the congregation, their ears vibrated but they failed to understand. They took Jesus to the side of the hill to cast him over head first. Yet the bible says Jesus stopped, looked at them and walked away walking right thru their midst..... ......Are we hearing the Lord with our hearts understanding or is just our ears next to our head vibrating???...If it is just our heads ears we may get agitated at Jesus' words and we may want to throw him off a cliff, cast him out of our days, out of our lives, and out of our present event...Maybe even out of our country.....deno.
