Why I Believe In The Trinity #2.....deno

       In Matthew 17:1-8 we have the scene where Jesus took three of his disciples Peter, James, and John up to a high mountain apart from the other believers and disciples. There was something very special he and the Father wanted to share with them. They reach the peak of the mountain and suddenly before the disciples eyes Jesus Himself began to be transfigured. This transfiguration is what I want to focus on for a moment.
    As they watched Jesus being transfigured they began to see the Word that became flesh that was with God in the beginning(John 1:1-5)(Genesis 1:26) come SHINING THRU. Brighter and brighter he became until he shined brighter than any light brightness they had ever seen or known. They, being fisherman, had seen the awesome light of the sun glistening brightly upon the lakes and seas they had fished in, but even those sun and moon glistening reflections on those waters could not compare to the brightness of the glorious light that they were now seeing radiating from the Son Of God on the mount. They were witnessing the heavenly of the Son of God. They were beholding the part of Jesus that had no beginning of days neither ending of days glistening with Godhead glory. They were beholding the Eternal Power of The Son of God within that body that was soon to be offered up for the sin and salvation of the world (Hebrews 9:13-14). 
       Then after he amazed them with this Amazing Grace poured on purpose upon them there, they fell to the ground in awe and fear. Then, there with Jesus on that mount appeared Moses and Elijah in awing light themselves but not above the brightness of Jesus. Lord, Peter, replied. Shall we make three tabernacles, one for you, one for Moses, One for Elijah.  The Father being on the scene was hearing Peters words and He was already on the move to render His own answer to Peters question. Another bright cloud began to overshadow them mixing it's glory with Jesus' shining glistening glory (vs4-5). Then from that cloud the voice of the Father spoke these words out the mouth of God that cannot lie, saying, No, make no tabernacle for the three. The Father said, For This (Jesus) is My beloved Son, In Whom I Am Perfectly Pleased. He Is The One You Are To Hear."Since the Father therefore calls Jesus His Son, all of us who do are in line with the Fathers tongue and it is written that the mouth of God cannot lie, such is impossible for Him to do (Hebrews 6:17-19).
     Now this is the question that with the scriptures in our next writing on the trinity we shall answer. The question is this. When did the Father first call Jesus His Son? Was it in eternity before the foundation of the world? Or only after the Word became flesh, became a man, and dwelt amongst us? And if we can find in and from the scriptures that Jesus was known as the Son of God BEFORE he came down from heaven and became flesh and before the foundation of the world, then we all must humble ourselves before the mighty Word Of Truth and confess that Jesus is Lord, The Eternal Son of the Most High God.....stay tuned....we answer this in the next Trinity writing.....deno...please share freely.

The world with its kind of love will throw you to the side. You could be at the gate of a rich man of this world wishing just for the crumbs and the scraps and this worlds love will pass you by and leave you empty saying, better you down there than me. Jesus taught such an evil heart and attitude fits one for the torments of hell (Luke 16:19-31). We cannot spin this no other way....Friends let us all love one another not being partial according to outward appearance or world status. Jesus Is The Right Answer.....deno

Only thru the eyes of Jesus have we a true living enduring hope and vision for this world. All other hopes are illusions headed for a great let down. Sadly the heart of the nations are becoming more set on the lie and on the temporal than the eternal and as Jesus said, Great is the fall of all whose heart and lives are not founded on His Word and the hope his resurrection brings. The night our dad went to heaven. He laid there on his departing bed SO READY. He had loved and served the Lord as a pastor and preacher for over 50 years. He walked in God's giving love and always walked in his integrity glorifying The Lord. He said, I am ready to go home. I have fought the good fight. I have kept the faith.He turned to my brother who was in the room with him when he left us and said "I Love You." A few short breaths later and he departed to be with the Lord.  His eternity was built on the word and hope we have IN JESUS....IS YOURS ?......deno

Jesus Versing The Storms Of Life.....deno

Storms, trials, troubles and opposition come to all of us. They even came to Jesus while he was on earth. The difference between how they effect us and how they effected Jesus is he always knew what to do with or to the storm or opposition. He knew that the storms were subject to him and not he to the storm. What a major difference of thinking his mind compared to most of ours. He either rebuked the storm with HIS WORD OF FAITH and calmed it, or he spoke against his enemies that tempted him or tested him with the word of God with it is written. He NEVER EVER IN ANY SITUATION DEPARTED FROM THE WORD OF GOD. The word of the Lord is a shield. A sword for protection. It is backed by all the Power of the throne of God. Faith is how it is activated on earth in our lives. With the mouth is how it is released....No wonder God said to us that Man Shall Not Live By Bread Alone But By Every Word That Proceeds From The Mouth Of God. It was for our good. It was said for our joy. It was for our peace. For our safe keeping. For Storm Chasing and Control. The difference being the storms were to be afraid of us and run from us and not the other way around. Sin changed things and sent all things off their original perfect design and course. Jesus on earth as a man was exactly how God created us and intended us to be. All things were in full subjection unto him and not he to all other things. It took the cross to make things right again between God and man and all things. Truly all things are subject to us In Christ but only by real bible faith can this be a reality in our lives for ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO THEM THAT BELIEVE.......den......please share freely.
