    If the devil attacks you and you pick up the tablets of stone with the 10 commandments on them and throw them at him as the weapon of your right then defense, he will whip you. You cannot whip a spirit with a physical stone thrown at him. You have to hit a spirit with a spiritual weapon. In Christ God has given us the GREATEST SPIRITUAL WEAPON IN ALL CREATION....HIS  NAME....THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST......See Ephesians1:19-23....Acts 3:16.
       When you in faith, say to him, No you don't you beguiling serpent. In the Name of Jesus Christ the Son of God my Redeemer and My Salvation I bind you and resist you and you stand firm in your faith, you will whip Him. Jesus is our salvation and our defense, but we MUST BELIEVE ON HIS NAME FOR BOTH TO WORK FOR US.......deno.

Religion verses Relationship.....deno....please share freely

      John 5:1-47 is a most revealing light........Jesus had just healed a man on the Sabbath Day. Elders and the legalistic  religious ones among the Jews began to murmur and complain because He had set a man free from a disease that had kept him down, and crippled, and in bondage for the last 38 years. This healing, this great act of Gods kindness, and tendermercies, and compassion, well all of Israel should have praised God and should have been happy for that man for his salvation and deliverance. But when you have religion and not a real relationship with God; when you have religion and not Gods love in you, there will be another story and so it was in this event in the life of the goodness of God revealed in Christ of those who exalted Law above Love and the commandments above mercy.
        As these attacked Jesus and the goodness that the Father had just done for that crippled man on the Sabbath Day, Jesus became stirred up in His Spirit and a great sermon of light, love, truth and warning was uttered back. All these words, not one of them was meant to condemn, nor to destroy, but to open blinded eyes, for in Christ the Love of God reigned. He wanted them to see the error of their thinking in this situation of Gods goodness that was done on the Sabbath Day to that crippled man. Unfortunately as we read more on down the line, the legalistic Jews who had religion but not relationship, continued to peck at Jesus on the healings HE STILL KEPT DOING ON SABBATH DAYS.
         But there is light is this scripture that the Spirit unveils about religion verses relationship. These Jews had circumcision. These Jews had religion. These Jews that constantly withstood Jesus had the covenants and the Law and the temple. These Jews had and studied the Torah, the scriptures. These Jews had 600 plus Holy commandments given them from God thru Moses and they were willing to publicly stone you if you did not esteem the Law and the commandments as they did. These religious people believed in strict allegiance to purity, purifying ceremonies, to keeping the holy days and the Sabbath Day and the passover. They believed even in prayers and praying to God. But they were also, speaking of these who constantly opposed Jesus and the goodness of the Father, they were full of the devil and the devils desire. Yes the devil loves religion. But he hates sons and daughter relationships with the Father.
        In John 8:44, after these opposing religious Jews still kept pecking against Jesus, and exalting Law over Gods kindness, and the stone above Gods mercy, Jesus seemed to have reached a tipping point and just let them have it. He said to all those Law thumpers who opposed Gods goodness, and who were mercy haters, he said " you are of your father the devil and the desires of the devil you do. He was a murderer from the beginning and remained not in the truth. He is a liar and the father of lies." Even to this present hour in the world, these of this same clan and spirit still lie about Jesus and oppose him in Israel and throughout the world where ever Jesus is believed and preached.
        Yet before the above words were uttered by our Lord of the heart and soul of those who withstood Gods love, kindness and mercy; before this smack of grace to get them to examine themselves to see where their hearts were in God, he said in our original text to these of the same opposition, that (John 5:39-47) I know that you do not have the LOVE OF GOD in you. 
        Well what did they have IN THEM. They had religion. They were legalistic. They had the Law of commandments contained in ordinances. They loved and exalted the stone, and publicly shaming sinners, and stoning them. They were fault finders.  They had an accusing spirit. They had an exalting the Law spirit. They hated Gods mercy and goodness. Love, mercy and loving kindness, and grace they could not understand. Even in our world today, the world is feeling the impact of this same type of religious EVIL spirit in the name of certain religions. I need not even mention that religions name. They have Laws and religion, BUT NOT GODS LOVE IN THEIR HEART but the lust of the devil they do....murder others thinking they are doing Gods work. They are full of religion, but so deceived at the same time.
         Well friends, these people in our text had religion. They had the Law of the holy commandments and would oppress you and even stone you to death for failing to keep them. They had purifying ceremonies. They kept holy days, sabbath days, and they kept the Passover. They wore holy looking attire and dress. They had Moses and the prophets, but their hearts had so drifted from the God of Abraham and of Moses that when He that Moses wrote about as spoken of in our text came on the scene, THEY KNEW HIM NOT. They became the very people the devil used to oppose the one who fulfilled Isaiah 7:14 & Isaiah 61:1-3 that spoke that Emmanuel would come to them in a Son born of a virgin. He would be the Christ, the Anointed One. They were the very ones that mocked him, opposed him, argued with him, spat in his face and finally murdered him with a cross which fulfilled scriptures of the foreknowledge of God. They, all over Israel had Laws and religion, but the Son had the true relationship and they by Satan and religion in them despised him for that even to the blood of the Cross.
       What was there condition? What made them do such things to their own ruin and destruction which left their house DESOLATE AND EMPTIED OF GOD AND GRACE (Matthew 23:37-39)???They had religion but no relationship with God. They had the Law and the holy commandments but did not have Gods love in them. Jesus told them, "John 5:42, "I know that you have not the love of God in you.
      The difference between true faith and religion is the Love of God. God is love. He used the Law to in time ready the Jews and the world for His visitation thru Christ who would unveil to them and to the world the real love and heart of God the Father. They were to know by the Law what sin was and that they were all sinners (and not holy as they thought they were), and that sin has a price.  They were to be ready for the yoke of the Law to be removed from them by the sacrifice of Christ and to rejoice at His Coming, and for removing from them the yoke of the enslaving Law that cursed the sinners and the transgressor. God saw and knew that they could not fully and honestly keep it flawlessly as none of us can, and flawlessly was the standard to be  UNCURSED. So He sent his Son to establish a new covenant with them of love, faith, grace and mercy but they preferred the old instead of the New. The Law instead of Love, Grace and Mercy that came by Jesus Christ.
      By the blood of Emmanuel (Jesus Christ) God was going to remove the Law and all their transgression so that they could come to new life in God made free from sin and by a rebirthing of their spirit (Being Born Again John 3:1-36) thru believing. Thru believing and receiving Christ by faith. (See 1 John 5:1-5).
      It would be thru this rebirthing of their inner man in the hidden man of the heart and by the infilling of the Holy Spirit of God, that God and His true LOVE SELF and Love Spirit would get INSIDE OF THEM INTO THEIR HEARTS. If keeping the Law could have filled them with Gods Spirit of Truth and with the Love of God then when Jesus came on their scene He would have found them full of the Gods Spirit and the Love of God, but instead he found the very opposite in them. Yes even his own, in the children of Israel, he found them full of the accuser and full of  his wicked antiChrist spirit. He was casting out demons and devils out of Jews all over Israel. He said to them, you are of your father the devil and you will do to me what he desires.
      Friends we do not need religion. Such has been tried and proven to curse instead of bless and give great place to an evil deceiving devil in this world. We need and must have RELATIONSHIP with the Father and His Sons Love in our hearts.  By the preaching of the gospel of Jesus Christ (His blood, death and resurrection, and the love of God in his great sacrifice as spoken of in John 3:16 that our dad taught us to believe), our ears hear of the love, goodness, and mercy of God. This hearing of Gods love when really heard with the heart causes hope and faith to rise and reach out unto God calling upon the Name of the Lord unto salvation. When that happens, then in them comes the personal fulfillment of the words Christ spoke, (John 5:24 - "He that hears the good news and believes I was sent from the Father, has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation, but is passed from death unto life." They also pass from religion unto relationship, from Law unto Love, from bondage to freedom, from Satan unto God in the spirit.
        Friends does your spirit, your heart exalt Love, mercy, compassion, faith in Christ and in Gods love and the lovingkindness of God; or does your heart love to find fault with others, talk evil of others, stone others with words, condemn others, wish ill on others?  Do you have Gods love in your heart, or do you have religion and the heart of the stone like Israel did on the day of their visitation???? When God Has Our Heart......deno.....please share freely

        When God has a strong holt on your heart His Word is important to you, to hear them, to believe them, and to obey them. When you have a holt on Gods heart, your prayers are important to Him, for Him to hear them and do them....It is a covenant interaction.
         In John 15:7) Jesus told us, If you abide in Me and My Words abide in you (that is you are hearing them, believing them, doing them), you shall ask what you desire and it shall be done for you......According to Jesus and not us, When we are rightly abiding in Christ and His words are rightly abiding in us, our prayers will prosper and prevail in the things we sent them into......Time for a walk check.
         Lets check out the prosperity and prevailing of our prayers. According to Jesus this is one of the signs of rightly abiding in Him and His words rightly having their way in us and in our lives. .....
         Disobedience is a negative prayer partner. Its like a Judas hanging around always going to get the devil to hinder your prayers course and success because our disobedience gave him place to do that....Ephesians 4:26-27) When angry do not sin. Do not let the sun go down upon your wrath. Neither give the devil any place in your life....

       The devil loves disobedience. It makes his job against us a lot easier. He doesn't much have to fight against us when we ourselves choose disobedience. We are shooting our own selves in the foot so to speak.....deno......please share freely.

Jesus Scared and Shocked Nicodemus Into Believing John 3:16......deno......please share freely

        John 3:1-18 is the scene where Jesus is talking to one of the holy men of Israel, Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews, a Pharisee who believed in the strictest adherence to all the Laws God gave to Moses, the 10 you know of and the 600 plus more that you may have never heard of before. He was strict to obey them and he with his clan were strict to shame and stone to death those who did not exalt the Law and keep its holy commandments. 
      This same super Law keeper. This legalistic holy man. This Pharisee. This religious man that all of Israel highly esteemed and highly reverenced for their uncompromising devotion to the Law, the commandments of God. This I will keep all the commandments of God no matter the cost and I will condemn and stone to death all those that do not, Jesus looked him right in his hard headed religious forehead and said, Unless you are born again you will not make it to heaven, and you will not enter into the kingdom of God. Nicodemus, a holy holy man of Israel was in shock.....He had been working religiously hard all his life to please God by strict obedience to all the holy commandments of God and here Jesus is telling him that all that labor will not get you into heaven, into the kingdom of God. Nicodemus is stunned with those words. A portion of fright hits him. For if we the strictest of the strictest Law thumpers and keepers of the commandments will not make it, WHO THEN CAN BE SAVED???. He is now highly concerned and well should he be. For if one misses heaven there is but one other place to go. A place called hell.
      In all the Laws many scriptures, this ruler, this teacher of Israel Nicodemus never heard such words, as being Born Again.... He was stumped with real spiritual ignorance. Why? It had nothing to do with the works of the Law of Moses or the Law of commandments contained in ordinances, nor of the flesh, nor was it words and wisdom of this world but of the spirit. It was a heavenly thing (John3:9-12).  Jesus said to Nicodemus, Are you a teacher of Israel and and know not, (understand not) these things? Jesus told him, if I tell you of earthly things and you don't believe them, how will you believe if I tell you of heavenly things, things of the spirit of man.
      The Laws purpose.  Gods Son was now on the scene to fulfill the Laws main purpose which was to show Nicodemus and the rest of us that we were all together born sinners, guilty before God (Romans 3:19-31)(Romans 4:13-25)(Romans 7:6), and that we needed mercy, and forgiveness, and a REDEEMER AND A SAVIOR. That was the core purpose of the Law to show us the NEED FOR JESUS AND HIS BLOOD. We needed so great a salvation. We needed an abundant pardoning. God would accomplish all this thru the tremendous sufferings, passion, and blood of His Sons Cross that all those animals blood that Israel sacrificed day in and day out on the altars PREACHED & PREACHED & PREACHED but Israel failed to make the REDEEMING  connection.

      The Law written on stone was both ours and Jesus' stepping stones to the Cross of Christ.  Christ went to the Cross because we both had need of it. Yes we and Jesus had need of it. 
      What do I mean in this? We had need of it because of our sins. We needed atonement for our transgressions. A punishment paid so that we would not be punished. We needed a MIGHTY LAMB OF GOD for this and Jesus became that Passover Lamb for us. 
       Jesus had need of the Cross because the mouth of God had said, even from the foundation of the world these words of  His Son, "Thou art slain". When God opens His Holy mouth and says about anything a swearing, or an it shall come to pass Word, Gods throne is on the line. His integrity is on the line. To say one thing and yet do another is A LIE which is a sin. Jesus had to go to the Cross. There was no way around it lest he and God be found liars. A thing Satan was hoping would happen at the Cross. 
     Jesus had to go to and thru the Cross to go back to heaven. Back to heaven from scriptures he fulfilled, just as much as we have to join him at the Cross so that salvational scriptures IN US can be fulfilled. None goes to heaven outside of faith in the Cross, and in the blood, death and resurrection of the Son of God Jesus Christ. So saith the scriptures.

      And it would be the gospel of Jesus Christ, by Christ incomparable sacrifice that in the day Jesus was talking to Nicodemus was soon to come, and his resurrection; THAT GOOD NEWS, THAT GOSPEL of His blood, and sacrifice, and resurrection would be the heavenly seed which -by the mix of faith-, by those who believed, God would see THEIR FAITH IN HIS SONS BLOOD, DEATH AND RESURRECTION, and God HIMSELF BY THE LIVING SPIRITUAL SEED OF THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST, God would heavenly mark and recreate the spirit of those who  BELIEVED within their heart......It was a heavenly thing. Mans spirit (thru faith in Christ) being recreated-born again- within in the hidden man of the heart (1 Peter 3:4)(Ephesians 4:23-24)(2 Corinthians 5:17-21).

       Read Ephesians 4:24) And learn to let the NEW MAN in you rule who is now BORN AGAIN & CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS in His image, in righteousness and true holiness...Let the NEW MAN on the inside of you that God has recreated in His righteous image and holiness lead you now along with the Holy Spirit who reveals all these spiritual things and spiritual truths to us and teaches us of HEAVENLY THINGS....Go and read John 3:1-18).......Comparing spiritual things with spiritual..... 1st Corinthians 2:1-16).......

      I close with this note......In Christ, do not labor for what you ALREADY ARE IN CHRIST, but LET BE what is already on the inside of you. Let the NEW MAN created in righteousness and true holiness ( like Paul preached and revealed in Ephesians 4: 23-24) with God your heavenly Fathers Holy Spirit more and more be your leader and your guide. When we have finally learned to really WALK IN THE NEW BORN AGAIN RECREATED IN CHRIST JESUS SPIRIT, the flesh loses and the NEW MAN wins and God is more and more pleased with us.....deno .

TAKE AWAY THE STONE......deno.....please share freely.

      We must roll away the stone which is the old way and the old covenant of the Law so that we can be made alive with Christ as RISEN WITH CHRIST (Colossians 3:1-4). We must role away the stone in order to walk in newness of spirit and then in newness of life in oneness with Jesus in the better NEW COVENANT of grace which gives us a Heart in heart, Spirit in spirit, Mind in mind, Father in son relationship with Jesus and the Father. So take away the Stone.The curse of the Law must go.
       To see yourself born again by faith in Jesus Christ blood, death and resurrection; to see yourself a NEW CREATION in the inner man; to see yourself raised up together and made to sit together with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:1-10) in the new covenant of endless peace that his blood established; and to see yourself  RISEN WITH CHRIST, dead to the Law but alive unto God in the Spirit, YOUR MIND MUST BE RENEWED. IT HAS TO BE RENEWED. It must be or that old way of the Law thinker will keep your thoughts and thinking processes in chains of religious legalism bondages and that old mind set will rob you of the glorious life, fellowship and liberty that Christ paid for you to have for a peace filled, love filled relationship and walk with God as your Abba, Father, Daddy. 
       Christ has redeemed us from the Curse of the Law.....Why? Well for one, Peter said none of us could keep it as perfect as was demanded so the Jews and you and I were far more cursed by it instead of blessed by it.. Another reason Christ redeemed us from the Law that cursed us was so that we as believers could be justified by faith instead of by the deeds of the Law that cursed us due to admitted weaknesses....And so that we could be born of God, made NEW CREATURES in Christ in our spirits, and filled with His Spirit as two in spiritual love become one. 
        Those two things in themselves are INCREDIBLE SPIRITUAL MIRACLES that when really understood makes one stand in awe. Folks the place you long for called Heaven, it's Maker is IN YOU by Christ in you..... Which is worthy of more honor? The building or he that built the building? Which is a greater connection? You in heaven or He that created heaven, HE HIMSELF LIVING IN YOU. God in you and you in God is the greatest connection of all EVER. 
       Christ thru the blood of his cross established a covenant of peace so great and so reconciling, and so redeeming powerful that the Holiest of all that Israel feared because He was so unapproachable in the OLD COVENANT, now has come out from behind that curtain of the holy of holies, and now thru our faith in Christ blood, the God of Israel has now come to us boldly thru the incredible peace making power of the blood of His Son and resides, lives, and dwells in our hearts. That in itself is a redemption miracle. Our hearts He created in Christ to be His Brand New God Made Living Thrones for His sitting with us and reigning with us from within the heavenly place of our own hearts. 
       When all of heaven and earth pass away for the new to be born, when all of it melts with fervent heat, the great connection of Christ in us and us in Christ will still endure. You in the Father and the Father in you in loving inner fellowship in your heart will remain and we will watch together as HIS WORD as it erases the old and amazingly births the new heavens and the new earth....In Christ your connection with God and His connection in your heart will never pass away as long as we believe and belong to Jesus....
      The Father and Jesus inside us, living in our hearts, when really understood and walked in is greater than our feet in heaven. Jesus was full of God and His Joy in heaven and Jesus was full of His Father and His Joy when on earth and  in both places life to him was inwardly WONDERFUL, DELICIOUS, & BEAUTIFUL because of the great connection that can endure and be every where in every place. The difference is Jesus never sinned, or doubted, or did anything to hinder or quench or grieve the Spirit of God. But Us, well we die daily. We daily must submit to God, resist the devil, fight off the world and the will of the sinful flesh as we press on to more and more please and obey God.
       Let us worship the Lord with praise, love, and obedience ever the more.......deno.

         I am so thankful that Jesus did not come into our world to condemn us, or to oppress us, nor did he come into our world to plant us like thorn bushes down on depression street. In John 10:10 He said He came into this world that we could have life and have life more abundantly thru faith in Him. He said, He came to save us thru His cross, His blood, thru His death, and thru His resurrection and light.  He came to bless us tremendously by turning our hearts to believing and trusting in Him confidently, and by repentance of sins, and to give us an endless incredible living hope, and the BRIGHTEST FUTURE in all of Gods creation. Remember His Promise, I go to prepare a place for you. Not just a place friend, but included in those words is THE MOST BLESSED AND  MOST BEAUTIFUL GOD FILLED, JESUS FILLED, HOLY GHOST FILLED, HEAVEN FILLED GRAND LIFE with all Gods loving kindness trimmings...read Ephesians 2:4-7...wow
       In Christ, we have so many blessings to partake of in this life and infinite ones in Glory......As Christ flesh and bone, which we are, (and there is a huge blessing in being that...HUGE ONES), we have so much to look forward to FOR ALL ETERNITY....

         So in closing this one I write in Jesus Name, Stay In Christ Love. Stay in Christ Light.  Believe in Him. Trust in His Blood and Obey His words and Love Rules. Serve Him with gladness and delight.....Sweet is the soul that does these things faithfully. Just like Jesus told us in Johns gospel. He said, "All these things have I spoken unto you SO THAT My Joy could be in you and your Joy MADE FULL"....Let us all keep learning those things Jesus spoke, believe them, and do them. When the Law Giver died, so died the Law.....Redemption Insight........deno......please share freely

        When the Law giver died on the Cross, so died the power of the Law that He gave. Its condemning powers were all swallowed up by Christ taste of death on the Cross. The strength of sin was the Law, but where there is no Law, there is no accounted transgressions. That is how he took away the sin of the  world. He took away the Laws powers and dominance which gave sin its record keeping and dominion over all. This is part of the liberty blessing that we have in Christ. Not under the Law, but under grace. 
       When the Law Giver died the Law didn't have a prayer. When the Law giver died the strength of sin, which was the Law, was destroyed so that all people could come to God by a new and living way which God Himself made and consecrated for our entrance into life, by faith, hope, and ever remaining trust in Jesus Christ and him crucified and risen from the dead. This would be the new ticket. Faith in Christ blood the NEW WAY.
          God gave the Law to show us our guilt and so that ALL THE WORLD would become guilty before God and would see their need of a Savior. Then God sent the world THE SAVIOR. This was all together His Plan and Purpose for the Law even before  He carved the first Law in stone. He was going to send Jesus  who was  known in God as slain from the foundation of the world. He sent him into the world to die for our guilt's removal. God gave the world Christ His Son. 
       He sent us Jesus the Law giver to take away the Law HE GAVE which gave Him every right to fulfill the Laws purpose and he would do so thru the ERASING power of his death and take away our sins with his own redeeming blood. In him we are free to love God, serve God, believe God, trust God, obey God as our Father and we as His born again dear children in Christ Jesus, not under the stoning, condemning weight of the old, but under the yoke that is easy and under the burden that is lite in THE NEW AND LIVING WAY in a love relationship with Jesus Christ who loved us and gave himself for us......deno.
