The peace offering of Jesus on the Cross was so powerful in its obtaining of peace that the God that dwelt behind the curtain in the holy of holies in the Temple of who the priest in those days feared to come unto and feared to enter unto behind the veil trembling they might be struck down for entering in wrongly or to boldly, God himself thru the power of His Sons blood and peace offering tore that curtain in two and came running and RUSHING to enter into the hearts of His new born children in Christ on the day of Pentecost. HE HESITATED NOT. Now, By faith in the peace offering of His Sons Cross, God tells us all to COME BOLDLY to His Throne. Enter boldly into His Presence. God came BOLDLY unto us on the day of Pentecost (Like a rushing mighty wind) and His boldness on that day is our boldness on this day. His boldness in entering into our hearts on the day of Pentecost is our same boldness to enter into His Spirit and Presence and Throne every day. He himself demonstrated the ENTERING BOLDNESS...He Hesitated Not. God himself showed us the glorious entering peace we have with Him thru Christ blood and sacrifice. He gave us the full example of the confidence and of the boldness on the day of Pentecost. He made the first move for the full peace demonstration. He showed us all on that Pentecost day the greatness of the PEACE we have with Him thru the peace offering of Christ. He came running & RUSHING thru His New Temples (Our Flesh Body) to ENTER into our hearts (His new holy of holies) like a rushing mighty wind. Our spirit and His perfect holy Spirit became One Spirit in the redemption mix of Spirit in spirit starting that day. And for all this to occur then GREAT PEACE between us and Gods Holy Spirit had to first be established. Behold Christ our Passover Lamb and GREAT PEACE OFFERING has been slain SO MAKING THIS GREAT PEACE. The priest of old only dreamed of these days and of this great peace we have now with God thru Christ. Well in Christ this great peace with God we have it. It is our new covenant norm and reality paid for in full thru the PEACE OFFERING of Christ, thru the blood of His Cross....Paul said we preach peace by Jesus Christ.....deno...please preach and share freely....To God Be The Glory.
Colossians 1:20 reveals to us that Jesus was our peace offering unto the Father. It reads...Jesus made peace for us (with God) thru the blood of His Cross. Paul said Jesus did not die in vain, and he was not given nor sacrificed in vain. The full out pouring of Himself (of Jesus) in spirit, soul, body and blood, all had PEACE purpose and all was the PEACE OFFERING GIVEN BY GOD HIMSELF with power for saving and for blessing to the uttermost all them that believe and put their hearts trust in that peace offering. Do you trust with all your heart the PEACE OFFERING that God Himself has all His confidence in and has ordained and performed for our peace with God thru Christ? Or do you still seek to (by your own good works) to MAKE your own peace with God? If you are still striving to obtain your own kind of covenant peace with God by your own efforts or by the sacrifice of your own self, then you are falling from grace and falling short of the glory of God in this most important peace with God matter. Jesus said in John 14:27 that His covenant peace is a given peace, not an earned one (THAT'S IMPORTANT). We are not talking here about a peace that the world gives that is always measures by AN EMOTIONAL REST, but we are talking about a MIGHTY COVENANT PEACE which is FAR BETTER. For a covenant peace has benefits now in our walk and relationship with God on earth in this life and it also has the power to fully extend all its peace glory into all eternity. The worlds kind of peace COULD NEVER reach such heights nor lengths. Covenant peace brings us every kind of peace when by faith accepted and received and when by faith walked in. When you find out that Jesus is your peace with God and that you have in Christ a covenant of everlasting peace with God (Isaiah 54:7-10) and that God is not angry with you or us anymore being fully satisfied with the blood of His Sons Peace Offering, friend when you really SEE THIS TRUTH, your emotions of peace will really start to line up by the truth. That peace truth will set you free. Our peace that we have with God in Christ and by Christ is measured in Christ very own words. In John 14:27 Jesus said, PEACE I leave with you, MY PEACE I give you....Wow now that is peace. Matter of fact that is the highest peace in ALL CREATION. Jesus' peace is the greatest peace that can exist. His peace is His Peace WITH GOD and it is literally the peace of God that passeth all human understanding measures. It is the very peace of Jesus and it is also the very peace that Jesus has with the Father. It is not a worked for peace as many so often strive for in religious hard labors, but it is by the Word Of The Lord a GIVEN PEACE. Peace Jesus said I leave you, MY OWN PEACE I GIVE YOU. Christ sacrifice of himself was a peace offering and our text says that Jesus obtained peace for us with God thru the blood of His Cross. Nothing we do changes that peace because this peace we are speaking of was an OBTAINED PEACE solely on the merit of the mighty sacrifice of Christ. He was a peace offering. If the peace offering of Christ was not accepted by God then God would not have raised His Son from the dead. But Christ is risen indeed therefore the peace offering has been fully accepted by God Himself. Well SINCE GOD THE HIGHEST OF ALL ACCEPTED THE PEACE OFFERING IN FULL, who are we to belittle its peace power and peace with God glory? Romans 5:1) Therefore being justified by faith (faith in what?) Faith in the peace offering of Christ). Therefore being justified by faith we have peace with God THRU OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST.... Christ Our Peace 14 For He (Jesus Himself) is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father..... Preaching Peace By Jesus Christ.. Peter said to Jesus, Lord if my brother sins against me 7 times a day, Should I forgive him all 7 times? Jesus answered. Jesus always has the right answer. He said, Not just 7 times, but 7 times 70 A DAY...490. Since the Lord, perfect love himself commands us to have mercy and to forgive and love others that much, 490 times a day per person, WOULD HE DO FOR US LESS concerning our faults and sins?...You see that. You see that which just happened in the mind of some of you when i wrote those words. When I said that, immediately some of you on the inside heard a voice in your mind and it said, That's just giving people a license to sin. You went straight to the fault finding. Friend Jesus our Lord said those words not us and when Jesus said those words, giving people a license to sin was the FURTHEST THING from his mind and it was the furthest thing from His True Spirit... But to the sin magnifying spirit. To the sin conscience mind, when those words are said the license to sin thought immediately rises up. How could that which was the FURTHEST THING from Christ mind when he said those words be the NEAREST THING to yours????..What spirit drives you in the mind? The spirit of the accuser, sin magnifier and of the fault finder, or the Spirit of the Prince of Peace, of our Redeemer, Reconciler, the liberator who sets the captive free and is rich in mercy because of His great love where with he loves us. Some even wonder if God loves anything on earth. Satan loves to dismantle and belittle the love of God, the goodness of God, the gospel good news, the grace of God, the longsuffering of God as we see of God in the prodigal sons father, the compassion of the Lord which is all in the beauty of the Message of our Lords Cross. Be all that far from you says the spirit of the devil the sin magnifier who always keeps striving to sow discord between brethren, between people, and between God and us. But Jesus is the answer for all those dividing walls, and for all that friction to be removed, to come down and to get out of the way SO MAKING PEACE . Satan always magnifies the sin. But he fights against you to keep you far from the mercy, love, compassion and goodness of God that forgives, restores, mends, heals and gives place and cause for fellowship between God and people. For without those things, THOSE GOOD THINGS OF GOD IN CHRIST, there could be no fellowship in peace but wrath and friction.. Without the peace power of the blood the Christ and His Cross then the only fellowship that would go on between us and God would be one of friction and wrath and enmity by sin magnification (LAW) and not Cross of Christ love and goodness of God exaltation (GRACE)......This is the core of the Law verses Grace Fellowship with God comparison. Peace I leave you Jesus said...Yes My Peace (with the Father) I give you. I choose grace over Law any day, SO DOES GOD. For the Law worketh wrath Paul said and you cannot have real love and real fellowship with someone that is always MAD AND ANGRY WITH YOU....But friends, Grace, and truth came by Jesus Christ who is every day, all day long, our redemption and our unchanging PEACE WITH GOD, and thru Him by faith in His atoning PEACE MAKING SACRIFICE we have such peace with God that we -IN CHRIST JESUS- we even now call God, Abba, Father.....Daddy. If a Father is only interested in fault finding His children and every day all He wants to do is point out there faults and throw guilt trips all day at them, He himself builds again a dividing wall between Himself and His children, and the atmosphere becomes again filled with -NOT LOVE -but meaness and hostility. Plus those children will end up becoming stone faced and dulled in emotional response. Their love of God out look will be a terrible one. Their outlook on Christ and him crucified will be a weakened one and they will question the power that was supposed to have been in the great PEACE OFFERING SACRIFICE when Jesus laid down His life for our peace with God....See Isaiah 53:1-12 and Ephesians 2:11-17......Perfect love casteth out fear and wrath.....deno. What are you magnifying Sin or the Peace offering and the good things that accompany salvation?....something to thing about. Yes rebuking our and chastising our children have their place. But if in anger all we do is rebuke rebuke rebuke and chastise and yell at our children, well they will eventually not want to hang around us HELLO....
.....This Word may at the first sound strange to you. But it has its place in the story of Gods love and redeeming grace. If all the Father and Jesus did every day was fault find, fault find, fault find and knit pic, knit pic, knit pic over all our faults and imperfections, it would not be much of a healthy relationship would it? I mean if that is all that the love relationship is about then THAT IS A MOST MISERABLE RELATIONSHIP. Shocker Point Coming Up....The Father and Jesus loved us anyway is the good news. Jesus sat down with chiefest of known sinners and dined with them knowing they were sinners and not perfect and he did so without knit picking about all their sins and faults. Does this sound strange to you? Study the scriptures and you will find it to be the truth. Family, If it is all about fault finding, fault finding, fault finding, and knit picking over faults and imperfections all day, every day, all night, every night, then it is the worse and most miserable relationship in all creation of beings still above ground. Love has to be more powerful and more greater, more unifying and more peace giving than that. The cross of Christ, the great peace offering of the sacrifice of Himself has to be more powerful in its peace giving. In its wrath removing and enmity removing power. Peace I leave with you Jesus said. My peace I give you. Jesus is our sin offering and our guilt offering and our peace offering all in one so that we AT PEACE WITH GOD IN CHRIST could have a love relationship with the Father as Dad and sons and daughters in Christ. Love, Gods love hides the multitude of sins, faults, and imperfections so that their can BE A LOVING RELATIONSHIP between God and us. God loves you. This does not mean sin is not to be rebuked, warned about, resisted, and preached against. But if only sin exposing, the pointing of the finger, and fault finding is the full of it all and the high light of the days relationship, who then could ever smile and have joy and rejoice in God ?...Something to think about.....Deno..... Jesus said, He that shall come after me must first deny himself in this life and take up his/her cross and follow me....... Light...When you have nothing left in you but Christ presence, light, desires, and love, then you finally hit the real jack pot in grace sanctification. Until then, spiritual thieves and the thief himself has his works and schemes still in places within you. You are idolizing your self and esteeming your life in this world to much. Your holding on to tight to the temporal and less to the eternal. The cares of this life, the interest of worldly things, and the pride of life still have a lot of their residue within you to the point that it keeps you over entangled with the affairs of this life. You have not yet completed the first grace work in this matter. You have not yet denied your self. This area right here of the hearts interest and affections is the tempters main focus and battle ground. If he can keep our eyes staring upon the things of the world and of this life, then sad to say it but our time on earth he will have controlled and consumed for his will and not Gods..... So IN ALL that we do, do it all for the glory of God and Jesus Christ. Jesus said, we are not of this world even as he is not of this world. Church in love and in light it is time to act like it. To walk worthy of the calling wherewith He calls us, unto all pleasing the Lord. WHATEVER IS NOT DENIED IN US OF SELF AND OF THIS WORLD IS IDOLATRY.....deno.
Philippians 3:13) Paul said, Forgetting those things of my past and reaching forth to those things Christ has for me. Friend, let the dead bury the dead and move on. In Christ you are dead to sin and alive unto God. Your past and all your past sins are dead to you and you are by the power of Christ blood promises, you are dead to them. AND those sins are dead to the memory of God just as HE SWORE. He swore in His love. I will be merciful to their transgressions, and their sins and iniquities i will never remember again. That my friends is dead to God. When they are dead to God and His memory, that is as dead as sins or anything else for that matter can get. Our forgiven and washed away sins are Dead Dead Dead.Gone Gone Gone. Separated from us as for as east is to the west just as God also promised. And remember this also, it is impossible for God to lie to us. If He promises something to us, He swore Himself to it. Forgiveness God swore in His Love for us by Christ. Lucifer cannot get into the mind of Almighty God and toy with Gods mind on this bringing up our past sins issue, but here on earth in the minds of people he can still mingle and mess with if people allow him to and resist him not. That is why it is SO IMPORTANT to know the promises of God concerning the power of Christ atoning blood and His mercies upon our sins. We need to take those promise, feed on them until they become part of our every day mental culture and use those blood of Christ scriptures against the Accuser of the brethren every time he comes to bring our sins up from the dead in our minds. That is the only place he can somewhat resurrect them IN OUR THOUGHT LIFE....Cast him and them down in your minds with all the good things Christ blood speaks in the promises of God. Here below are some of them to stand on and to use them in the It IS WRITTEN WAY that Jesus did when Satan came against him. 1 John 1:9) If we confess unto the Lord our sins, the Lord in his faithfulness will be faithful to us, He will forgive us of our sins, and he will cleanse us of all our unrighteousness. Hebrews 8:12) The Lord promised us saying....I will be merciful unto their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I never remember again. Psalms 103:12)..As for as east is to the west, That's how far He has removed or sins from us. Isaiah 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his wicked ways. And the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let them RETURN unto the Lord and He will HAVE MERCY ON THEM. Let them RETURN unto our God for swore to ABUNDANTLY PARDON. Jeremiah 33:8) I will cleanse them from all their iniquity by which they have sinned against Me, and I will PARDON ALL THEIR INIQUITIES by which they have sinned and by which they have transgressed against Me. Isaiah 1:18) Come now, and let us reason together saith the Lord, Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. Isaiah 43:25) I the Lord, even Me, I am the One who blots out your transgressions for My Own Sake, And I will not remember your sins.
We learn from Pauls insights, revelations, and writings giving to him from Jesus, that The Law given to Moses in its long term view, was given for this revelating purpose. Romans 3:19.....so that every mouth may be silenced, and ALL THE WORLD may become guilty before God (Actually to know their guilt themselves before God). The world would look at the Holy Commandments of the Law and learn its holiness and holy commands and realize that in them, that is in their being was something wrong. They would notice or realize that there was a lust in their being, a world of iniquity, a world of sinful desires in each of them to do just the opposite of the laws pure love and pure holiness commandments and ways. As they looked at the Holy Law, they were to notice and say, something is wrong with me. Sort of like, Lord Im a sinful man, or Lord, be merciful to me a sinner. They sure were not to have the holier than thou attitude of self righteousness as the Pharisees took on as to say, Lord I thank God Im not like the rest of these sinful people. Im above their guilt. That attitude is sure not the true attitude that the Law was given to give all the world. Remember what the scriptures says, Romans 3:19...The Law was given so that every mouth may be stopped, meaning in part that all self righteous boasting would be shut down and that ALL THE WORLD TOGETHER (including all Pharisees and all Sadducees) would become, would know for themselves that something is wrong with them and that the whole world-all of us-would become guilty before God. We would all notice and say we were guilty of sin, we were sinners, and sinful in nature....NOT DENY THIS FACT AS THE TRUE SELF RIGHTEOUS HYPOCRITES DO. This knowledge mentioned above of how guilty and how truly sinful we are was to eventually lead them and us to understand the purpose of Jesus Christ the Son of God, to understand the need for His atoning blood, and him crucified, and the need for the mercy of God and redemption, or eternal salvation thru the Messiah. However, Israel, including the majority of their elders were blinded by Satan to make the redemption connection of Isaiah 52,53,54,55....Just the opposite was their attitude and just the opposite was their mouths boast saying, I THANK GOD I'M NOT LIKE THE REST OF THESE SINFUL PEOPLE (Read Luke 18:9-14). That is an I am not guilty before God attitude. Jesus, knowing why He gave the Law and its ultimate redemption purpose as we have learned in this lesson said some startling words concerning these mouths that boasted of just how holy they were and boasted about how their righteousness was beyond rebuke, as if they were above the guilt of the rest of all the world. Jesus said they went away as THE CONDEMNED. They were liars, who denied and tried to hide their evil hearts thru fronts of self righteous holy appearances and apparel. Friend every heart, yours, mine, their all naked before God. Fronts, holy apparel etc. cannot hide our hearts sins or secret thoughts and imaginations. Because the Pharisees refused to humble themselves and acknowledge their sins and their guilt before God, they got in serious trouble with Jesus the Lord who himself was the Law giver. Before Abraham was Jesus said, I AM....People today who possess the Pharisees I thank God I am not a sinner like the rest of these attitude, because of their self righteous holier than thou attitude, they to get themselves in hot water with Jesus today. He resisteth the proud, but gives HIS GRACE to the humble. The Lord be merciful to me a sinner hearted people. Friends the real honest truth of the matter is, WE WERE ALL IN THE GUILT AND SHAME BOAT TOGETHER. All of us and that without exception. No matter how people try to deceive themselves or deceive others with their own self righteous attitude, or arrogant sinless aroma that is a stench, the bible says that All sinned, All have sin in them even as a part of their being. All were guilty. All had evil in their hearts secret place, in their hidden imaginations, and in their being. Jesus even told all of Israel that even they were evil (guilty before God)(Matthew 7:9-11)....He said, If you (Israel) who ARE EVIL know how to give good things to your children...In this Jesus startles us all and all the world in these few words saying EVIL KNOWS HOW TO EVEN DO GOOD....the things one could preach from those revelating words are abundant. Thank God for Jesus and Him crucified and risen from the dead. We all certainly needed a Savior, a Redeemer....Behold said Elijah, Behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of a guilty world. Jesus became our sin and guilt offering thru the blood of His Cross. Lord Jesus how we love you and praise you and thank you for being you and for loving us and giving yourself for us on the Cross. You shed your blood in agony and you died on the cross for our sins punishment and you rose again from the dead for our justification......Amen.....deno.
