I sure like this. I was reading in the book of Thessalonians and came across this scripture. Paul and his team had been suffering persecution and contempt for the gospel. People were criticizing them for preaching and standing up for the faith of Jesus Christ and the ways of God. It was rough and challenging to them. Watch what this scripture reveals of how they handled all that opposition and what their response was to it. 1 Thess 2:2) But even AFTER that we had SUFFERED before and were spitefully and shamefully treated by those that opposed the Lord and his gospel at Philippi,..even AFTER all of that WE STILL were BOLD in our God to speak to you the gospel despite the contention and opposition of His enemies.....Church we must have the same attitude no matter what the enemies of Christ do.......deno.
Jesus knew when he came into our world that the world compared to His paradise was a place of much evil and of great darkness. The curses of Adams sin and of Israels covenant transgressions were everywhere. The world God had made by Jesus Christ had become by sin a place of the habitation of demons and devils way more than the presence of the holy angels. Light was supposed to be everywhere but instead darkness was dominating the scene. Satans spirit was in all and everywhere while the Spirit of God was grieved behind the veil in Jerusalem waiting for the Jordan River to become stirred by foretold special feet. On earth, only in the upper chamber of the mind of the small nation of Israel was found a certain measure of the knowledge of the one true God and yet even they had become greatly deceived and taken captive to do Satans lust in the spirit. They were a people found by Jesus that honored God with their lips but their hearts were elsewhere loving darkness and this present evil world more than light. Jesus told Israels elders in John 8:44, " you are of your father the devil and the lust of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning and remained not in the truth. He is a liar and the father of it. Yes, Jesus said that to Israels elders, shepherds, overseers. Israel who was supposed to be the salt and light of the world had become the blind led by the blind needing their own eyes re-opened. They were in no way any light nor any salt to the world, not even to themselves. Salt had lost is savor in the land of Israel. The sheep called the light of the world had become a people who sat in darkness themselves bound for the ditch if mercy did not intervene. Every where Jesus went in Israel he was casting out one devil after another devil out of the people God had ordained to be His holy special peculiar people to be full of His peculiar treasures on the earth as found in (Deuteronomy 28:1-14), yet they loved God not nor did they want to diligently hearken unto His ways of the covenant statutes of great promises. They had a belief system layered in the Laws demands but there was very very little love of God or love for God in the land. They had an external form of their forefathers faith convictions and religion but they had lost the glory and the power thereof. Those clouds without water Israel itself had become. True righteousness they hated and iniquity they treasured. Violence, lying, rape, fornication, adultery, stealing, stoning, gossip, deceit, the pointing of the finger, extreme fault finding, false fronts, political corruption, arrogance, pride, idolatry, witchcraft, the casting of lots, fathers having not their children's needs or best interest at heart were irresponsible and roaming free, and the do what you will spirit was in the heart and upon the thrones of Israel. A false balance was the accepted thing while men even made merchandise of the sacrifices that sanctified.. Then in the midst of those evil dark days suddenly was heard a voice of one crying in the wilderness saying REPENT, turn your hearts back to God, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. Fathers, turn your hearts back unto your children, to their present and future needs. Go beyond yourselves and consider the generations to come and their needs in the spirit of good will. If you do not, then the trees of the field shall burn like chaff from the blast of God who is ready to bring all the world into His judgements for refusing His Sons love, light, counsel, and grace. Jesus said, He that hears my words and believes that i was sent by my Father, he has everlasting life. He shall not come unto condemnation but is passed from death unto life...Your in the faith if you believe those words and doubt not. (John 5:24).
Jesus said, If you do not believe that I am the Christ you shall die in your sins.....Your in the faith if you believe that Jesus is the Christ and doubt not. You shall die not under the law, not in your sins, but in Christ Jesus under grace. Good News.
Jesus said, I came down from heaven. Jesus said, Before Abraham was I Am. Jesus said, Moses saw me leave heaven and he saw me being born into this world and he rejoiced seeing this my day on earth....Your in the faith if you believe those words and doubt them not.
Jesus said, I lay down my life as a ransom for many. No man takes my life from me. I lay it down myself.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Jesus said, I go to Jerusalem. There I will be betrayed. I will be handed over to the gentiles. I will be crucified unto death and buried. Then three days later I will rise again....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Paul wrote, Jesus died for our sins and rose again for our sure hope and for our justification.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Isaiah the prophet wrote. Jesus was wounded for our transgressions. He was bruised for our iniquities. The punishment needed to be endured for us to have peace with God Jesus met, and by his stripes we were healed, meaning (in part) mans condition with God is now mended. We do not have to die in our sins and go to hell. We can choose Jesus and choose life.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Paul wrote, If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead YOU SHALL BE SAVED. For it is with the heart man believes unto righteousness now, and with his mouth he confesses his way unto salvation...Romans 10:9-10)......Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Paul wrote, Therefore being now justified by faith we have peace with God thru the sacrifice of Christ.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.....Romans 5:1.
Paul wrote....Now God has shown us His love for us in this awing truth. It was when we were sinners Christ came (sent by God) and died for us. Knowing this love light we can be assured that now, all of us being justified by Christ blood, we can know we shall be saved from Gods wrath thru Jesus. For since it was that when we were enemies of God that we were reconciled unto God BY CHRIST DEATH and not by works of the law or by works we have done. Paul wrote...Abraham believed what God promised him and his believing, God himself counted as his righteousness. Now to him that works and works, his reward is not reckoned by grace but from his own labors and from what is owed him. But to him that worketh not, BUT BELIEVES on Him that justifieth the UNGODLY, his faith is counted for his righteousness even as Abrahams was.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt not.
Paul wrote....Therefore by the deeds of the Mosaic Law there shall be no person justified in Gods sight; for by the law sin is known, exposed, counted, record kept, and magnified. But NOW the new righteousness of God without the Law IS REVEALED AND MANIFESTED TO ALL...Even the righteousness of God which is by faith in Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe, for there is no difference between the nature of the Jews or of the Gentiles, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Being now justified FREELY by His Grace thru the redemption we have in Christ Jesus thru His blood. Therefore WE CONCLUDE that a man is now justified by faith in Jesus without the deeds of the Law of Moses....Your in faith if you believe these words and doubt not.....Romans 3:19-28.
Paul wrote what David wrote...Even as David also described the blessed man who God imputeth righteousness without works SAYING, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord holds not his sins against him.....Your in faith if you believe those words and doubt them not....Romans 4:5-8.
Paul wrote....Because the Lord told me himself that the Law gets God angry with people because they fail to keep it, but where there is no Law, there is no transgression. So to keep Gods wrath from being kindled against us, the Law had to be removed so making peace and this peace came by the blood of His Son that took it (THE LAW) out of the way nailing it to his cross (Colossians 2:10-23). Therefore now it is by faith that it might be BY GRACE so that the eternal promise of salvation could be sure to all the seed, to all them that believe and belong to Christ......Your in faith if you believe these words and doubt them not.....Romans 4:14-16.
Paul wrote...For you have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption thru which we cry unto God Abba my Father. The Spirit of God bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.....This witness only ones own heart knows. If the witness of the Holy Ghost is in you, then you know your are the Lords and the Lord is yours. You know your in Christ and Christ Spirit is in you. You have the inward witness.
Paul wrote...Wherefore I give you to know that no man speaking by the Spirit of God can say Jesus be cursed, and no heart in faiths truth convictions can know and say that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, the Lord from heaven except by the Holy Ghost......And if someone comes to you and says that Jesus was not Eternal in spirit, or that He was not the Christ, nor the Son of God, nor the truth but this or that other man or way is, right then you should have an inward witness, a nagging, an itch, an alarm, a disturbing on the inside of you in the gut that warns you of the presence of antichrist and that he has come against your faith......1 Corinthians 12:3 & Matthew 16:13-20.
My friends Jesus Is Lord. He is the Christ the Son of the living God. By Him thru the Eternal power of God were the heavens made and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth and the brilliance of His wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Without Jesus nothing was made that was made. He is the Lord from heaven. He is God manifested in the flesh. No other man on earth ever could fit those shoes. Those shoes have already been filled when the Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us. Like the people of Israel said, What manner of man is this that even the winds and the seas obey Him? And in another place they said. We have never seen such things and such greatness in all of Israel. And in another place, No one ever spoke as this man speaks. And in another place, He healed them all. And He raised Lazarus from the dead and cast out the devils.
My friends we conclude and we say what Peter said in Acts 2:36-38) Therefore let all the house of Israel and all the world know assuredly that God hath made this same Jesus His Son, who you crucified, both Lord and Christ. Repent therefore and be baptized everyone of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins and you shall receive the promise of the Holy Ghost. For the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are near and afar, even to as many as the Lord our God has called. For He promised that whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord SHALL BE SAVED. Call upon Him. His Name Is Jesus, The Mighty God, The Prince of Peace, The Everlasting Father, His Name is Wonderful, Counselor, King of kings and the Lord of Lords, Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, Redeemer, Savior, the Creator of Heaven and Earth. He was Abrahams God and Best Friend. King Davids Battle Glory and Endless Song. Solomons Wisdom and the power in his riches pile up. Daniels Dreams Power. Samsons Strength Anointing. Elijahs prayer strength and Speed beyond all horses. Enochs flight power into heaven itself. Let Jesus be all that and more for you. 2 Thess 1:6) Christians....Church...Note what Paul wrote in these words to those who were under going much troubles for their believing and belonging to Christ, and for standing for the Word of God. Think about all this anti Jesus, anti Christian, anti Word of God acts going on in America and around the world and apply this scripture. Paul wrote...Seeing (knowing) it is a righteous thing with God to repay with affliction and pour troubles back on them that trouble you (the Church)....Vengeance is mine saith the Lord, I will repay them trouble for troubling you. When all is said and done, God is going to silence His and our enemies. All the enemies of the cross of Christ, all the enemies of His goodness, grace and mercy, all the enemies of His holiness shall be silenced by an everlasting rebuke......Who is on the Lords side?
.......Psalms 106:19-21) They made the golden calf in their madness and worshiped the molten image they made as god. 20) Thus they changed their glory (which was the Lord) for an image of an ox that eats grass. (They were under the spell of strong delusion). 21) They forgot God their Savior which had done so great wonders for them in Egypt..24)......They did not believe Gods Word. 25) They complained against the Lord in their tents and wrestled against His voice. .......After seeing so much of Gods goodness and His strong Arm that delivered them. After seeing the Red Sea open up and walking into their safety on God made dry ground. They refused to give God the glory due Him and neither were they thankful. Well just like Jeremiah wrote as he looked back at all this of the people of Israel. He wrote, "Oh the heart of man is so desperately wicked. Who can know it?" Then later they committed the greatest sin that topped all their former acts. They crucified the Lord in the hour of their foretold visitation. They said, Away with Him they cried,and they cast the Lord out nailing him to the cross. They reaped the same from the Lord and were left a house of desolation. They were spewed out of His mouth and they were cast out into further darkness and to more severe stronger delusion. Their next golden calf (Jesus said) is Anti Christ. (2 Thess 2:1-14). .......Where is your heart today? Let our hearts be in the palm of the Lord and His Grace & Mercies given us all in Christ Jesus.
Jesus told us all, "Be it unto you as YOU BELIEVE." In another place he said, According to your faith measure, be it unto you." Some of us believe for little, some of us believe for the abundance. One day I was thinking about God our glorious heavenly Father. I was thinking about the creation, the universe, the galaxies. You know, God could have believed for a single galaxy. A single galaxy made up of a billions stars would have been a great feat in itself. But to God one galaxy by itself was just a small drop in the bucket of His faiths expressions, riches, and power. God wanted an AMAZING ABUNDANCE so GOD STRETCHED HIMSELF AND BELIEVED BIG, GIGANTICALLY BIG. God believed for over a billion galaxies plus and more than a BILLIONS GALAXIES we know are out there. Glory, glory, glory. What a mighty Believing God we serve. Let us believe like the Father does. Lets stretch ourselves and believe BIG, for the far more than enough. ......Isaiah 32:7-8) Rude, selfish, and wicked people devise schemes against the poor and the weak even though the cause of the poor is just and right 8) But the kind and GENEROUS MAN does acts of kindness and of generosity and by HIS GENEROSITY shall he stand and be upheld. ......For lack of a better word, there is something beautiful and magical in giving and in generosity. Giving is empowered by God with a living promise and God always watches over His Words/His Promises to perform them. ......God said, God Promised us in Luke 6:38) Be generous and give. Yes give and it shall be given unto you. ......Yes God watches over All His Words to perform them.....To see how He promises to perform these Words of His about giving....go get your bible and read for yourself the rest of Luke 6:38 and remember this. Every time any of us read the bible and a voice comes to our minds to denounce the power thereof, well that is the devil doing exactly what Jesus said he does in Mark 4:14-15) The sower sows the Word of God and Satan comes IMMEDIATELY to steal away those words from their hearts lest they believe them, for he knows that it is in the believers believing the promises of God that the profiting comes.......and also let us remember the words of Paul...And whatsoever you do in word or in deed do all in the Name of Jesus Christ.
