A person said, no where in the bible do we see the celebration of Christmas...My reply was this... The night Christ was born the angels praised God and spoke glad tidings of great joy that our Savior that night was born....The sky was full of them saying, Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace and goodwill to men. Those angels were celebrating THE DAY of the birth of Christ and they were sharing their good news with men to bring men in on the celebration.
It was a special night when God was born into our world as a child. The Word became flesh and dwelt amongst us.
It does not grieve the Lord when we do things in REMEMBRANCE OF HIM.
Personally I love Christmas and everything about Christmas.We celebrate Christmas in remembrance of our Lord and his birth on earth. It is a time of remembrance. A time of celebrating our Saviors birth. A time we celebrate and give and share in giving gifts to one another as God gave to us His gift, the gift of Christ His Son.
Yea but Deno, the 25th of December used to be a pagan day. Well your right, but even so our hearts and spirits used to belong to Satan, but because we received Christ, God filled our hearts and spirits with Himself even though our hearts used to be Satan's territory. It's not what it used to be that counts but what NOW IS in Christ. So if a heart that was once Satan's can now belong to God, surely a day that has no soul that once belonged to a lifeless pagan can now be a day that belongs to Jesus where we celebrate Christ our Lord.
Yes the 25th of December centuries ago was a pagan day for many, but to us we fill that same day with something NEW....We celebrate on that day our Saviors birth, and we now fill that day with our praise and thanksgiving to God for Jesus Christ. On Christmas day we celebrate in REMEMBRANCE, THE BIRTH OF CHRIST OUR SAVIOR....MERRY CHRISTMAS.....deno.
When things get dry, God pours out upon the thirsty ones His living water. And when things seem hopeless, God redeems his people with His divine interventions. And when things get so dark, He causes light to spring up that puts a dance of restored faith in our hearts believing like a refreshing second wind. We have now entered into some of this grace in America.....
Whatever side of the political isle that you are on as a christian, I want to make clear this important point. Jesus Christ the Lord from heaven, the creator of all of heaven and earth would not and will never ever ban himself from being mentioned or praised on earth at anytime and most especially at Christmas....So I say with joy fully commended to do so by the Spirit of Jesus Christ, MERRY CHRISTMAS everybody.
As it is written, Unto us this day in the city of David a Savior has been born who is Christ the Lord.....The Spirit of Jesus can never deny himself.....NEVER.

When Adam and Eve made their first fig leaf clothes, they made them to cover their nakedness shape in shame and in fear of God....Today when Adam and Eve make their new fig leaf clothing and fashions it hides no curves nor shape, for they have no more a fear of God or of what is wrong or of what is tempting.
Yes the first man and woman after their sin in shame made for themselves clothes out of fig leaves to hide their nakedness and curves and shape ashamed of what they had done. The present Adam and Eve now make their clothes to hide nothing but to reveal and show every curve of their nakedness. Will we as a world or as the Church ever fear God again and change back to living for His glory and honor, or are we now our own gods and idols making up the rules of our course and way of life, who as the bible foretold cannot cease from sin or from doing wrong? (2 Peter 2:14).
I pray for a miracle. I pray that God changes all our hearts so that by His workmanship within us we choose His godly ways for us and not Satan's sensual promotions. We or many of us of this generation have become that wicked and adulteress unfaithful generation swapping wives & husbands in divorce and in swinging, tempting and being tempted by one another, who has not submitted yet to the full way of Christ holy leadership. Why call Me Lord Lord when you obey yourselves and not Me saith the Lord...Lord also means BOSS....Certainly words to think about and to let them take their rightful course in the garden of our hearts.

P.S..Recently it was reported that a lady who was a porn star who received an award for her latest movie, in her delusion after being presented the trophy for her performance in the movie said. I thank the good Lord above for blessing me with these talents and gifts and for this award...Lets not laugh. Many of us Christians today have been or are right now still in this woman's minds own strong delusion....It takes honest truth from God to deliver us out of our delusions and personal deceptions.....share freely...deno.
.......As i was reading Psalms and Proverbs, one day it hit me that these two men (David and Solomon) I had a lot in common with and i was not alone. Both of these two men God showed himself unto and talked to openly. In the book of Psalms and of Proverbs they were writing about the Lord, his goodness, his grace, his fatherhood over them as their God, and they were writing about their manifold trials and failures and what they were feeling and experiencing in the moment and of what they had learned from looking back at their lives in the times that they were pleasing God and when they were disobeying God. All their ups and downs, highs and lows, ins and outs, when they pleased God and when they sinned greatly which both of them did MADE THE BOOK CALLED THE BIBLE, which being interpreted means THE WORD OF GOD & GRACE.
.......Friends by the same loving-kindness and mercy of God shown David and Solomon, you and I are going to make it. For if these men with their track record under the strength of the blood of bulls and of goats and of the heifers of the OLD COVENANT SACRIFICES FOR SINS MADE IT INTO GLORY by the intercessions of atoning animals blood, HOW MUCH MORE shall we walk the streets of glory in peace with God who have fled unto salvation, being washed and saved by the BLOOD OF GOD HIMSELF, the Word of God that became flesh and dwelt amongst us?.
.......No wonder Paul the apostle said that the Cross of Christ is Gods Own Personal Power for us unto salvation. It is where the mighty saving atoning precious blood of God Himself was poured out to save us from our sins....What a glorious PEACE OFFERING. For we are saved not by the works of the Law, but by faith in the mediation of a MIGHTY SACRIFICE. thru precious blood that speaks and intercedes.. As it is written. Without the shedding of blood there is no salvation from sin and no removal of sins committed. Good deeds cannot take away what only blood can. A good work cannot remove a sin stain, wrinkle, spot, or blemish. ONLY BLOOD....Blessed be God for the PASSOVER LAMB, HIS BLOOD, and ITS REDEEMING SAVING US FROM WRATH PURPOSE.

Luke 1:6)...And they (Zechariah and Elizabeth) were both righteous before God (In right standing with God), walking in all the commandments and ordinances (instructions) of the Lord blameless.
Commentary.
......When I think of our world today I weep sometimes because it seems less and less people could fit the description of Zechariah and Elizabeth's love and devotion to God. As husband and wife they walked in all the commandments of God as blameless. What sweet life they must have tasted within. Not by wealth or fame, not by worldly applause or human success in this world, but by the souls reward from really constantly being faithful and obedient to God.
We live today in the prophetic times of the scripture that sin would be all over the place abounding in the last days. Few there be that are really sanctified and set apart for the Master by sincere love for him shown in their faithful obedience as Zechariah and Elizabeth were. These few among us today that do make the cut, when their friends turn left against the Lord they turn right and follow him. When it becomes politically incorrect to call upon the name of Jesus Christ publicly, they run and shout His Name on the house tops loving not their lives and fearing no threat of man or beast. But today, few are to embarrassed to shout his name so boldly. What will the neighbors think they say. Our family and friends will call us fanatical. Christ enemies will attack us. Friends nowhere in the scriptures have I found a word from Jesus telling us to put our light under a basket as if to be silent. Have you found one?
Well Zechariah and Elizabeth seemed to not care what the neighbors thought or didn't think about their deep devotion to God. Their delight was in the Lord and as our text tells us they delighted in keeping his commandments. What peace and joy must have been theirs thru the years of such sincere sanctification. A married couple loving and walking with God on earth.
Such sincere love and devotion to God always gets Gods attention. Psalms 91:14-16 reveals this truth and it reveals the rewards that can come upon the faithful ones when such true and sincere devotion is found. Zechariah and Elizabeth were about to find out that their love for the Lord and his commandments had gotten Gods attention.
At the right place and at the right time frame of Gods redemption work, Zechariah and Elizabeth were found to be in the right position to get an Angelic visitation with a glorious message from God. They were at the right place to be amongst the few on earth to hear from heaven that the dispensation for the visitation of Christ, Immanuel, which means God with us, had finally arrived on earth. They were even to become chosen to be vessels unto a special honor. They were going to be honored to bring forth Elijah, the great prophet known as John the baptist, to prepare the people for the visitation of Jesus the Lord of heaven.
Friends faith shown in obedience to God constantly, such sincere devotion lines us up for blessings and rewards, and sometime even special rewards. God has plenty of them to go around and He is the rewarder of those who obey him and diligently SEEK HIM (Hebrews 11:6).....But we must also say, sometimes they can cause us to experience the thorns of persecution. Our Lord fore told us that also. But Jesus said when we are persecuted for righteousness sake, he said for us to rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for that persecution means great is your reward in glory.
