The Sins Of Solomon...Will We Learn From Them?.....deno

This so amazed me when the Lord opened my eyes to it. God gifted king Solomon with the wisdom of this age in all types of government operations, in human interaction and affairs, in all kinds of skills to be the most wisest and most productive King ever to be known in Israel. God told him in understanding and in wisdom and kingship glory, no other kings shall ever come close to the glory of Solomon.....and yet....having all that wisdom, and yet, having all that incomparable understanding, it did not take the sin factor out of his heart and life. He sinned more than all other kings and committed more pagan abominations that all the other rulers of Israel combined. Even after he built the great temple in honor of God and saw God's glory enter the holy of holies in great sight even and in great power, he shortly there after looked at foreign women who loved and worshiped idols who Satan used to turn his eyes and his heart away from God who is the glory of us all. This great king Solomon in his great sins took the wealth and the riches that God Himself poured into his life and government and built for his un-approved by God girlfriends and wives, their IDOLS temples (plural) of worship and joined himself to their idolatry, bowing his own knees to baal from time to time in his abominations (UNBELIEVABLE BUT TRUE)....So it is in similarity with many of us and with this generation in America and around the world. We have been to the moon. We are more educated than all those generations before us and our combined wealth is staggering compared to former years and centuries and yet we sin more and commit evils far more than they did before us.....So no matter how much we know of God or of this world. Knowledge and wisdom cannot of itself change the heart...We need a Savior. A Mighty & Rich In Mercy Merciful Redeemer.
