     There were times when Paul shook off poisonous snakes that bit him and walked off unharmed by them, and there were times when the ship Paul was riding in was blown apart into pieces by fierce winds right after seeing and talking to Jesus in a vision and in a divine visitation. There were times when Paul was in the Spirit seeing Jesus and receiving grace and visions from the Lord, and there were times when Paul was put in prisons and received many stripes for serving and obeying Jesus. There were times when as Paul was preaching the power of God fell and people were healed and filled with the Holy Ghost, and there were times when while Paul was preaching people went to sleep and fell stories down to the ground. There were times when Paul was hugged and cried over for his love for the church and for Jesus, and there were times when Paul himself was in birth pain like agony praying for Christ to be formed in the hearts of Israel and the early church's. There were times when crowds in cities gathered in excitement at Pauls arrival, and there were times when other places and cities took up stones and sought to kill him......
      Friends there is no simple easy path in following the Lord in this world. But like Paul, no matter what comes at us for believing and for belonging to Christ, let us never let anything make us doubt Gods love for us and let us never doubt His presence with us. Thru all that Paul went thru in peace and in the pains he never ever doubted Gods presence or Christ love for him no matter how things felt to him and no matter how things looked. He understood the love of God shown in the Cross of Christ. He would not let Satan deceive him or throw him off with all that he thru at him and against his perception of things...Satan will tell you that all that has come upon you is because God has abandoned you...but after the disciples had suffered much physical pain and agonies in beatings and stripes done to them by the opposers of Christ, they learned it was not because they were abandoned by the Lord that those things happened, BUT THEY HAPPENED BECAUSE SATAN ATTACKED THEM BECAUSE THE SPIRIT OF THE LORD AND HIS GLORY WAS UPON THEM.
