JESUS SAID....WE MUST FORGIVE....THIS IS NON NEGOTIABLE.....

        We may feel that we are justified to not forgive someone because of the way they hurt us and made us feel by the offense. This is old testament theology thinking. You know the eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth view. But Christ abolished that old rule of the Law nailing its fulness to the Cross. Now God commands us all to repent, to believe on His Son and to forgive everyone all their trespasses and sins which they have committed against us SO THAT WE CAN BE FORGIVEN BY GOD.
         When someone has really hurt you, sinned against you and offended you deeply. It is then you must look unto Jesus and remember the Cross. Oh how they offended him that day. Think of how they called him a liar, a blasphemer, a false prophet. Think of how they abused him, beat him, stripped his garments off and slashed him with those cord whips of metal tips that cut his flesh to burn and sting. Think of how they chose a thief over him. Think of how they mocked him all the way to the hill called Calvary. Then once there, they without mercy slammed him upon the wood and nailed his feet and hands to the Cross. We would think in human terms of wisdom that Jesus would be justified and have every right to call fire down from heaven and burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire. But despite all his pain. Despite all the agony. Despite all that they were saying in mockery Jesus won the victory for us by Loves Way of intercession when he prayed, "Father forgive them for they know not what they have done". 
       Was he sinned against? YES. Was he publicly humiliated? Yes. Was he despised and rejected of men? YES. Was he abused?Yes even beyond recognition. For Isaiah wrote in his scriptures, He was marred and disfigured in his abuse to the degree he was unrecognizable....And hanging there in that marred and disfigured form he cried...FORGIVE...FORGIVE...FORGIVE...FORGIVE THEM. HE FORGAVE US..... 

          The second most important sermon I suppose that my dad ever preached when he was on earth next to repenting and believing on Jesus Christ was WE ALL MUST FORGIVE AND IN THE LIGHT OF HIS CROSS WE HAVE NO EXCUSE NOT TO.......DENO....AMERICA FOUNDED BY BELIEVERS FOR BELIEVERS........please share freely
