NEEDS VERSES WANT....CONTENTMENT HAS ITS PLACE......

There are the NEEDS and then there exist the WANTS. Sometimes I wonder if we as christian Americans have disregarded the importance of biblical contentment for our lust for the things of this world and the pride of life.....1 John 2:14-23.....Such words are not real popular in the church today. We have a tendency to dance all around these scriptures. Real prosperity from the biblical definition is to never have to borrow. Always able to lend...... With most Americans including our government in extreme debt today, I wonder did we all fall for a lying wonder.....Maybe we need to go back and relearn some things about contentment and why Paul preached to be content with such things as you have....Like the scriptures fore told, they that yearn for the riches of this world some times pierce themselves thru with many sorrows. Economy crashes and jobs disappear and their goes the big house, the car, the boat and down comes the rain of the eyes that the deceitfulness of riches opened the flood gates to. 1 Timothy 6:3-12
If we love money and this world in the wrong spirit and a sermon from God comes along about the call unto contentment and our hearts heat up due to the friction the word caused....We, me, you whoever it is needs a walk down humble lane. God resisteth the proud but gives his grace to the humble.....Forgive us Lord and help us become your right in our hearts and understanding in all things.....amen.....deno
If your a cheerful giver I pray God blesses you with so much that it is pressed down, shaken together and running over in your storehouses both small and great. For you are showing in your charity the law of the heart of Christ the greatest giver of all.
