Now I want us to think on something here about heavenly spiritual things, about ghost or spirits. Not all ghost or spirits are Holy. God is a Holy Spirit, a Holy Ghost. Satan is a spirit but he certainly is no longer a holy one but an evil one, an evil spirit or ghost which ever word you prefer. Gods Spirit and Satan's spirit are in nature two totally different spirits. One is clean, pure, holy and light in substance and in virtue and character (God). The other is unclean, not pure, defiled, wicked and of darkness in all of it's substance (Satan). Side by side some of them they may appear near the same, but in the spiritual DNA the difference is clearly seen and clear to all of the heavenly beings in the spirit dimension of existence.
Did you know you have a spirit? We all do. The apostle Paul revealed man is spirit, soul and body (1 Thessalonians 5:23 KJV). The reality of the spirit of man was one of our Lord's first sermons (John 3). Did you know that right now all spirit beings in the heavenly world can tell from their heavenly view point whether your spirit belongs to God or not by it's nature (Acts 19:15-16)(Luke 4:33-34). As Jesus after his resurrection could see thru physical walls and even walk thru physical walls unhindered(John 20:19) even so likewise spirits can see inside and into and above and beneath the outer layer of the wall of our flesh into the spirit realm of our being. Looking into these things they can discern what kind of spirit lives within the flesh whether it be of God or still belongs to the devil. Did you know by the word of the Lord that we can discern the same thing? We can, but only by the word of the Lord.
Let's look at this truth from God's word. 1 Corinthians 5:15-21)
vs15) And that He(Jesus) died for all, that they which live should not from here on out live to themselves, but to and for Him(Jesus) which died for them, and rose again.
vs16)Wherefore from here on out we know no man(Christians) by or after the flesh (being or appearance), though we have know Jesus after the flesh, yet from now on we no longer know the Lord after the flesh.
vs17)THEREFORE if any man (person) be IN CHRIST (being in- means you have in your spirit man that is within you as Jesus taught in John 3, you have been born again and your spirit being/man has ENTERED INTO Jesus just like Noah most surely entered into the Ark Of His Salvation in his day. One is a physical entrance/salvation, the other is a spiritual entrance/salvation but both are as real as the other in their realms of life and existence) vs 17 again) If any man/person (spirit man) be IN CHRIST he is a NEW CREATURE(Born Again); old things are passed away; behold all things (meaning all his heavenly man) ARE MADE NEW). These are spiritual words of and about the spirit of man, not the flesh or the physical. (Jesus said I speak to you of heavenly/spiritual things (John 3:12) Jesus said, My words are spirit and they are life. They are about the spirit of man, not his flesh. That so important.(John 5:61-64).
Friends In Christ Jesus we are NEW CREATURES in our Spirit Man that is within us. (He is the Hidden Man of (1st Peter 3:4). It is not something we understand thru sight or thru the feeling and senses of the flesh but thru the word of the Lord that was given to the spiritual eyes of Paul's heavenly understanding.
So How do we know if our spirit is born of God since we cannot know or understand these truth by the senses of the flesh? This is where the Apostles Pauls calling comes in to play as Moses's calling was so vital for information in his day. Jesus placed His heavenly Spirit and operated the mind of Christ in Paul the apostle greatly as He did in Moses. Paul preached that Jesus gave him the abundance of revelations/spiritual understandings.
