Well Jesus took the woman by the hand and supernaturally caused her to taste for herself and go thru all that he went thru from his tears and drops of blood under severe stress in the garden to the whips that caused the stripes on his back, to his face buffetings, to the crown of thorns, to the nails piercing his hands and feet on the cross, to his final breath, to the sword in his side, and to his broken heart. She ended up so abused, so cut up, so ripped,so pierced, in such pains that her body meat was hanging out all over her face, all over her body, all over the place and people could hardly tell she was human (Isaiah 52:14).... Well after tasting, experiencing and going thru all that, she never said salvation by the Cross of Christ was to easy ever again. 1 Corinthians 1:18) For the preaching of the Cross makes no since to them who are perishing, but to those of us that ARE SAVED, Paul said those of us that are the saved, having received the revelation of the power of Christ Sufferings & the Sacrifice of himself, know and understand this about the sufferings of Christ, The Cross of Christ is the redeeming power of God unto salvation.
So Paul wrote that the Cross of Christ is to those of us THAT ARE SAVED, THE CROSS IS TO US THE POWER OF GOD AND THE WISDOM OF GOD UNTO SALVATION (1 Cor 1:17-31). The real truth of the matter is, there is far far far more redeeming saving and interceding upholding power in the blood of His Cross, in His flesh ripping, meat tearing, torments and pains, in his agonies and death on the Cross than all our good works combined. Actually there is no comparison when you have Pauls God given him revelation of the power of God in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ Gods Son, in his death and resurrection. If you don't have Pauls revelation of the Cross of Christ you cannot see the exceeding greatness of its redeeming saving power. To you ITS TO EASY. That means you have shallow sight concerning THE POWER OF GOD IN IT.
Let's don't insult the Son of God. Do not dishonor His horrific but yet so beautiful sacrifice. He did not go thru all that in vain. If salvation could have come from the good deeds of human behavior by the law or without the law, then Paul said Christ would have been spared the Mighty Suffering for the sins of the world but he was not spared. Th scriptures clearly state, He tasted death by the Cross for every man in order to bring many sons us unto God, born again by faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus and the Spirit that is truly His will never deny His punishments, His sufferings, His Pains, His blood, death and resurrection and their combined redeeming power, nor will His True Spirit deny that Christ Sacrifice is the Way. He can by no means deny Himself. Insult him no more saying, Ahh Lord, that's just to easy. On this ground we all should tip toe and walk very softly.....deno......share freely.
