When it comes THE ACTUAL TIME for the end time prophetic scriptures to be fulfilled, we must accept and understand that when it is THAT TIME, we cannot pray successfully against those scriptures as to change their events or their outcomes. They will come to pass to the thoroughness of every dot over the i and every crossing of the t fulfilled. The end time CUP, the world must and will drink.
Here is an example of why. Jesus was sent into this world with the Cross before him every day. He knew the scriptures concerning His Passion, the passions of the Christ had to be fulfilled. Jesus knew the Word, He was the Word. He knew the scriptures. He knew the incredible sacrifice he was to make, and when it came to his awareness of the Cross, He preached the Cross to his closest. Yet when the exact time came upon him and upon the world for those scriptures to be fulfilled, Jesus Himself began to pray to the Father that those scriptures be altered and the cup taken away. The pressure of those scriptures weight was weighing heavy upon him as end time scriptures do us at times.
But friends as Christians, we all must face the truth and not be deceived, that just as our Lord had to endure the fulfillment of the scriptures concerning the Christ and his sufferings, and that all his praying against those scriptures prevailed not; even so, when the dispensation of the fulness of time comes for the end times scriptures to be fulfilled and to be drank by the world, it will not matter how much we wish against them, or desire them not, or pray against them; nor will it matter even if the breast are nursing, Jesus said it will all come to pass in that last generation. The end times CUP shall be drank by all that dwell upon the earth in that hour.
Knowing this needful truth, Jesus told us that we should be praying that our flight be not in winter, and that we can be counted worthy to escape all that shall come upon the whole world in the last days.
And a further note. Please listen carefully. Jesus will never tell us peace and safety when He knows sudden destruction is right around the corner, or near at hand. He will be saying, the end is nearing, repent, LOOK UP. Turn from your sins. Believe the gospel and set your affections on heaven and on things above where Christ is seated at the Fathers right hand. He will tell us. "pray that you enter not into temptation". Love one another fervently. Encourage one another. Strengthen one another. Pray without ceasing. Redeem the time knowing the days are evil. Forgive all. Preach and shout aloud the Message of the Cross to all nations to save. Live for the glory and honor of Jesus Christ. Believe and doubt not. Be watching and look up, for your deliverance draws nigh....He will not preach, Lay up for yourselves TREASURES on earth. Remember what He said. Do you see these beautiful stones and their arrangements. Not one stone will be left upon another. In the end time judgements as well, a whole lot of worldly treasures and worldly gain will fall to pieces. But I must say this right here as well. Blessed is that man whose treasures came from believing and faithfully obeying God. He is a beautiful rose, a touch of heaven on earth, while the rest of the world is but towering dung hills.
If we need fish for our food will Jesus give us a pile of snakes? No. If we need to be warned, will Jesus say anything to awaken us? Yes Jesus would. Jesus would shout it on the house tops. If we are thirsty, will Jesus lift to our mouth bitter vinegar? No.......He will tell us the truth no matter how hard it may be to swallow.....He will help us stomach all needful things by His love......deno......please share freely.
